Roy Hui is a successful serial entrepreneur based in Melbourne, Australia. He is a visionary business technologist with extensive experience gained while working for some of the world's largest IT companies. He practises agile methodologies passionately.

Roy founded MMGN.com - the leading social entertainment media website in Australia. MMGN.com provides the latest social news, reviews, videos and discussions around video gaming, movies and technology for millions of viewers every month.

Roy's other company - MyMedia - utilises the solution developed for MMGN.com to build cutting-edge web experiences for enterprise clients. Recently MyMedia built the NovaFM website for leading radio entertainment company DMG Radio. MyMedia successfully developed and delivered similar solutions for ClassicRock, NovaNation, FiveAA, StarFM and Koffee. MyMedia has also delivered and implemented leading social web experiences to Sensis; Australia’s leading directories and local search business and one of the most successful providers of digital advertising services in Asia. The MyMedia built online services include: Carshowroom, AutoCult, TradingPost Communities, NearMe and JustListed.

MyMedia has international developments and clients in the UK and China. Currently MyMedia has a powerful offshore team in Shanghai China, powering several Chinese consumer web businesses, along with a handful of popular Chinese iPhone applications.

Prior to founding MyMedia, Roy worked at ExpertIS, Infosys, Telstra and LinkMe.com.au. Roles held by Roy include Software Architect, Solution Developer and Infrastructure Specialist. He has successfully lead application development teams from China, India and Romania, overcoming many offshore development hurdles, while building up extensive outsourcing experiences.

Roy graduated from Melbourne University with a bachelor degree in Computer Science. He is certified by Microsoft as a Solution Developer, Application Developer, Systems Engineer, Database Administrator, System Administrator as well as a Microsoft Professional.
