Charles Lindop

Charles is a principal of advisory firm Carlisle Partners & the founding director of consultancy Interface solutions. Whilst his "day job" focusses on larger technology firms, he assists emerging ICT &Digital Media firms on a voluntary basis.

From 2001 to 2006 Charles established a range of incubator programs for ATP Innovations, Australia’s largest technology business incubator and owned by 4 of Australia’s leading research universities (ANU, UNSW, Sydney and UTS). Charles assisted many emerging technology companies with business formation, market validation, business strategy and business finance services.

During the 1990′s Charles established 3 successful ICT businesses for Hitachi Data Systems and United Customer Management Solutions; offering smart card solutions to the financial services industry, CRM & data warehousing solutions to top 100 corporations, and business process outsourcing solutions to utilities and the financial services industry.

Charles has also held a number of senior sales, marketing and services positions at Hewlett-Packard, SAP Software and Unisys. In the early ’90′s, for 2 years in a row, Charles was the highest percentage over quota sales executive for HP ANZ.

Charles is a non-executive director of NSW Enterprise Workshop, Chair of the AIIA Financial Services Innopvation Group & co-chair of Pearcey Foundation NSW. He is also a member of the Australian Interactive Media Association (AIMIA), a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), and the Australian Business Foundation. He is a judge for the Australian Technology Showcase, iAwards, and the Consensus Software Awards.

Charles is also a gold medallion lifesaver and patrol captain for Avalon Beach Surf Lifesaving Club.
